Bit About Books 2021 Spring Reading Challenge

We had such an enthusiastic response to our winter reading challenge that Laurie and I decided to keep the momentum going and introduce the Bit About Books Spring 2021 Reading Challenge. This challenge will run from March 20th until June 20th, and there are 10 prompts for you this time. Two prompts require you to read two books, so there are a total of 11 books to read for this challenge, and the last prompt asks you to take a photo of a book outdoors.

We’ve added an extra component of a coloring sheet this time, so each time you finish a prompt, you can color the corresponding number on the sheet that we got as a free download from SuperColoring.com

The guidelines are simple:

  • The challenge will run from March 20th to June 20th
  • Audiobooks count as books
  • A book can only be used for one category

This is just for fun, so there’s no pressure to complete the challenge. Read at your own pace, and enjoy!

For those of you looking for a ready-made template, we’ve created one you’re welcome to use, or you can make your own.

We’d love it if you also tag Laurie (hnatiukl_turningthepage on Instagram and @lhnatiuk on Twitter) and I (@the_neverending_stack on Instagram and @kmcmac74 on Twitter) so we can follow your progress and see what you’re reading.

The reading will begin on March 20th, so you have time to choose the books you want to use for each prompt ahead of time if that’s your preference. Laurie and I have both decided we’re going to stay more flexible this time and add books as we go.

We can’t wait to see what you’re selecting and reading!
